Helping Hands Ministry

"Helping Hands" is a new ministry at White Stone designed to match those in need of having simple tasks performed with those who might be available to assist. These tasks could be something as simple as providing transportation, performing a simple household task, or arranging a service call by a professional service provider. "Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life." 1 Timothy 6, 18-19. Studio 252

One week left! You don't want to miss it. We will be finishing on November 22nd with a church wide celebration. That day, Studio 252 will be a part of our corporate worship service at 10am. Studio 252 will return for a spring season in February.

Change in Service Times

As the holiday season approaches, hopefully you are starting to look forward to time with family. What a great time to also look forward to time together with your church family! As our church walks through the days of transition, having a unified church family is so important. In order to bring our body together and to develop community as believers, we will have one service this week, November 22nd.

Thanksgiving Celebration- November 22, 2009

The season is upon us, what a perfect reminder of how good God is! We will spend the entire morning celebrating all that God has done for us and enjoying Him together as a church.
    * We will worship together in one service at 10 am.
    * Studio 252 will be incorporated into this service; elementary aged kids will be in the service as well
    * Small groups for infants - preschool aged children will be available
    * We will enjoy a meal together immediately after the service in the cafeteria. Please bring side dishes and desserts to share. Also, bring a framed family photo for the table (these will be returned). The meat and drinks will be provided.

Cooperation Family Table Thanksgiving Baskets

Studio 252 and Kidz Rock will be working together to provide a basket of food for Thanksgiving for 10 families here at Brickey elementary school. Specific details about what will be included in the baskets will be available during Studio 252 and Kidz Rock on Sunday. If you do not have children, but would like to contribute to this project, you may pick up a list of needed items at the Information and Resource Table. You can also sign up there if you would like to provide a meat for one of the baskets. All items must be turned in by November 22nd. Ladies Christmas Tea
Please join us on December 12th, for our annual Ladies Christmas Tea "A Christmas Concert". The tea starts at 11:00 and the doors open at 10:00 at St. Mary's North. If you would like to attend, you must sign up and pay in advance. The cost is $15. To sign up stop by the Information Resource Table or contact Gina Rudd at 947-4375.
