What is STUDIO 252 - A 40 minute family production for K-5th graders AND their parents. Every week you'll see actors, dancers, videos, and a host put on a multimedia production.
Why do we want parents there? - White Stone wants to partner with parents to help them make the most of the time they spend with their kids. Parents have the greatest potential to influence the spiritual development of their kids. In a calendar year, the average kid will spend about 40 hours in church. As a parent, you have 3000 hours with your kids! STUDIO 252 is a resource to help you have a starting place to help your kids learn to make the right choices and help them know God loves them.
What do we teach? - Each month focuses on a different biblical virtue such as honesty, respect, forgiveness, or compassion. Each week within the month we look at a different Bible story that helps us to learn more about what God has to say about the virtue.
What are the rules of STUDIO 252? - 1) No drop offs. STUDIO 252 is designed to be a shared experience with your child. 2) Preschoolers are welcome, but not allowed on the floor area with the elementary kids. Preschoolers must sit with an adult at all times. (Sorry parents, you can't sit on the floor with the elementary kids either.) 3) Childcare is available for infants thru pre-k during STUDIO 252.
Are their other environment for your K-5th grader? - YES! Kidz Rock is an environment designed specifically for them! While adults are in worship, K-5th graders are in Kidz Rock learning about the same virtue we talk about in STUDIO 252! They will have the opportunity to worship, meet in small groups, and dig into the Bible together.
